A unique and innovative concept in band saw machine technology, PETRA Machines has designed a new Band saw machine model PE-TRA DC420V ToolMaster, (Capacity 420 x 420 mm) which offers flexibility to cut solids as well as Sections (I beams, Angles, Tubes/Pipes etc.) with equal ease.
PETRA Band saw machine model DC420V ToolMaster is designed to offer more flexibility to Tool makers, Steel traders or in general engineering workshops, where variety of jobs needs to cut, ranging from rounds, plates, hex to Tubes, Angles, I-beams etc.
This machine model is designed with a concept of change in blade attack angle as per cutting application. Means Blade attack angle can be changed from 0 degree to 3,5 degree, if someone want to cut Angle or I-Beam or tube/Pipe. Even for solids, a blade attack angle of 0 degree or 3,5 degree can be selected based on its shape.
This machine has a capacity of 420 mm x 420 mm and is equipped with load / force mechanism on both blade guides, to negotiate cutting of wide size solid jobs and to control cutting conditions at entry and exit of hollow sections.
Machine arm movement is based on PETRA’s dual column platform, which ensures stick slip free movement and offers smooth and vibration free cutting environment. Its True Dual Column, design assures structural rigidity. The Patented solution for precise, parallel movement of the frame including Ball Rail System on both columns provide superior fine movement of the frame eliminating both the influence of the center of gravity and cutting forces on the frame.
