1992

The First band saw was produced.

1997

PETRA won Golden Award – Zlati Ceh for technical innovation.

2002

PETRA won Silver Award –  Srebrni Ceh for technical innovation.

2004

The first  double column band saw was produced.

2005

The first double column band saw was introduced at EMO 2005 Hannover fair based on completely new, innovative design which have since proved itself as excellent technical solution.

2009

PETRA won Bronze Award for technical innovation.

2013

PETRA won Golden Award for technical innovation.

Today

PETRA has state of art design & development facility using latest 3D software and simulation, Machine and Tool testing facilities equipped with all relevant gauges and sensors to tap all known parameters and analyze the data using special software. This facility is used by the students from the Doctoral program of Mechanical engineering of University of Ljubljana and is enabling further advancements and innovations in band saw cutting technology…
